The pair can be aimed at two different LTE base stations, allowing the installation to use two separate cellular links, or both antennas can be connected toward the same base station when a larger share of that station’s transfer is required. This arrangement is intended for long-range LTE connections and is specifically positioned to make use of RUTX12 functions such as load balancing and carrier aggregation. Both LTE antennas cover 694-960 MHz, 1.7-2.2 GHz and 2.2-2.7 GHz, with 7 dBi gain across each stated frequency range and dual-polarized X-Pol operation.The two antennas have different roles within the kit. The main unit combines the directional LTE antenna with integrated dual-band WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth antennas, while also providing space to install the RUTX12 directly inside its enclosure. Two N Female connectors are provided for connection to the second LTE antenna. The secondary unit is dedicated solely to directional LTE operation and uses a smaller enclosure. Together, the two units form a coordinated antenna system in which the RUTX12, integrated wireless antennas and second LTE directional element are connected as one installation rather than functioning as unrelated external components.Outdoor InstallationThe main antenna enclosure is designed to accommodate the Teltonika RUTX12 and combines its router space with the additional WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth antenna functions required by the system. The main unit uses an RJ45 connection together with two N Female connectors for the secondary LTE antenna, while Passive PoE support allows power and network connectivity to be incorporated into the installation. Both the main and secondary antenna housings are rated IP67, supporting outdoor placement, and each operates across a temperature range from -40 °C to 80 °C. The main enclosure can be mounted on masts with diameters from 25 to 66 mm, matching the fixed-installation role of the kit.The second LTE antenna connects through two N Male plugs and is supplied with 70 cm LMR195 cables, providing the physical link back to the main unit. Although it performs only the LTE directional function, it uses the same stated material combination of ABS, aluminum, PTFE and fiberglass as the main enclosure. By separating the two LTE directional elements while keeping the router and other radio functions in the main housing, the QuMax XR2 creates a two-antenna outdoor installation that can be oriented according to the required base-station arrangement without duplicating the router enclosure.
