Honeywell PTM7950 Thermal Pad, 80x80x0.2mm  Features: The Honeywell PTM7950 is a thin phase-change thermal pad designed for use between a CPU or GPU and its heatsink. It provides highly efficient heat transfer, low thermal contact resistance, and long-lasting cooling performance even under heavy thermal loads. The thermal pad is made from Honeywell's Phase Change Material (PCM), consisting of a polymer matrix filled with thermally conductive particles. At room temperature, the material remains solid, making it easy to cut, position, and accurately place on the component. Once it reaches an operating temperature of approximately 45°C, the material softens, fills microscopic surface imperfections, and forms a thin, uniform thermal interface layer that significantly reduces thermal contact resistance. Its durable polymer structure helps the material remain within the contact area. Unlike conventional thermal compounds, it is highly resistant to pump-out caused by repeated heating and cooling cycles, allowing it to maintain stable thermal resistance and consistent cooling performance over an extended period. The sheet-format thermal pad offers clean and convenient installation. Unlike thermal paste, it requires no spreading or application, reducing the risk of uneven coverage or excessive material. Maximum thermal performance is achieved after several complete heating and cooling cycles, allowing the phase-change material to fully conform to the contact surfaces. The Honeywell PTM7950 thermal pad is especially recommended for gaming and high-performance laptops, where CPUs and GPUs are subjected to the highest thermal loads and frequent temperature cycling while operating in confined cooling systems. It is also suitable for desktop processors, graphics card GPUs, gaming consoles, and other electronic devices requiring efficient, precise, and long-lasting heat transfer to a heatsink.
