AJAX DETECTOR WRL COMBIPROTECT/BLACK 7167

Informācija par preci

EAN: 856963007149 **Ajax CombiProtect 38096 Black** is a combined wireless security detector that integrates a **PIR motion detector and an acoustic glass break detector** in a single compact device. It is designed for indoor use and provides simultaneous protection against unauthorized movement and intrusion through windows. CombiProtect operates as part of the **Ajax security system** and communicates with the hub using the secure **Jeweller radio protocol**. With a communication range of up to **1,200 m in open space**, it is suitable for apartments, private houses, offices, shops, hotels, warehouses, and other residential or commercial premises. ### Two Detectors in One Device Ajax CombiProtect combines two security functions: * **Motion detection** using a PIR sensor * **Glass break detection** using a built-in electret microphone The PIR sensor detects movement of objects with temperatures close to that of the human body. The maximum motion detection distance is **up to 12 metres**, with a horizontal viewing angle of **88.5°**. The recommended installation height is **2.4 m**. ### Glass Break Detection The integrated microphone detects the characteristic sound of breaking glass at distances of up to **9 metres**. To minimize false alarms, CombiProtect analyses the specific sound sequence associated with glass breakage — the initial impact followed by the sound of shattered glass. This helps distinguish an actual broken window from common household noises. The glass break detector provides a detection angle of up to **180°**, while adjustable sensitivity levels allow the detector to be configured according to the installation environment. ### Pet Immunity When correctly installed and configured, Ajax CombiProtect can ignore pets weighing up to **20 kg** and measuring up to **50 cm** in height. This makes the detector suitable for homes and other premises where small pets may move freely while the security system is armed. Temperature compensation helps maintain stable PIR detection performance when the ambient temperature changes. ### Jeweller Wireless Technology CombiProtect communicates with an Ajax hub using the proprietary **Jeweller** radio protocol. Jeweller provides two-way communication between the detector and the security system, allowing alarm events, device status information, battery data, and other service information to be transmitted securely. The maximum wireless communication range between the detector and a compatible Ajax hub is up to **1,200 metres in open space**. Actual range inside buildings depends on walls, floors, construction materials, radio interference, and other environmental factors. ### Fast Alarm Transmission When movement or glass breakage is detected, CombiProtect immediately sends an alarm event to the Ajax hub. The system can then activate connected sirens and send notifications to users and a connected security company according to the configuration of the Ajax security system. Fast wireless communication helps ensure rapid response to potential intrusion attempts. ### Tamper Protection Ajax CombiProtect features an integrated **tamper alarm** designed to detect attempts to remove the detector from its SmartBracket mounting panel or detach it from the installation surface. The Ajax system also continuously monitors communication with the detector. Device authentication and radio communication monitoring provide additional protection against sabotage and unauthorized device substitution. ### Control via Ajax Apps After CombiProtect has been added to an Ajax security system, its settings and operating status can be managed through compatible **Ajax applications**. Users and installers can check: * Detector status * Battery level * Jeweller signal strength * Motion detector sensitivity * Glass break detector sensitivity * Tamper status * Device connection status The Ajax app also provides testing functions that simplify correct positioning and configuration during installation. ### Up to 5 Years of Battery Life Ajax CombiProtect is powered by **one CR123A 3 V battery**, which is supplied pre-installed. The detector can operate for up to **5 years** from a single battery under typical operating conditions. Actual battery life may vary depending on device settings, radio signal quality, operating environment, and frequency of activations. Battery-powered operation eliminates the need to run a separate power cable to the detector. ### Easy Installation The detector is supplied with the **SmartBracket mounting panel**, allowing fast and convenient installation. The recommended mounting height is **2.4 metres**. Correct positioning is important to ensure reliable motion and glass break detection. During installation, the detector should have a clear view of the protected area, while the microphone should be appropriately positioned relative to the windows or glass surfaces being protected. ### Technical Specifications | Specification | Details | | --------------------------------- | ----------------------------------- | | Product | Ajax CombiProtect | | Article Number | 38096 | | Colour | Black | | Device Type | Wireless combined security detector | | Detection Type | Motion + glass break | | Motion Sensor | PIR | | Glass Break Sensor | Electret microphone | | Motion Detection Range | Up to 12 m | | Horizontal Motion Detection Angle | 88.5° | | Glass Break Detection Range | Up to 9 m | | Glass Break Detection Angle | Up to 180° | | Sensitivity Adjustment | 3 levels | | Pet Immunity | Up to 20 kg / 50 cm | | Recommended Installation Height | 2.4 m | | Radio Protocol | Jeweller | | Communication | Two-way | | Wireless Range | Up to 1,200 m in open space | | Power Supply | 1 × CR123A, 3 V battery | | Battery Life | Up to 5 years | | Tamper Protection | Yes | | Installation | Indoor | | Dimensions | 110 × 65 × 50 mm | | Weight | 92 g | | Security Grade | Grade 2 | ### Package Contents The standard package includes: * **Ajax CombiProtect Black** detector * SmartBracket mounting panel * CR123A battery (pre-installed) * Installation kit * Quick Start Guide ### Applications **Ajax CombiProtect 38096 Black** is suitable for protecting a wide variety of indoor environments, including: * Apartments * Private houses * Offices * Retail stores * Hotels * Warehouses * Meeting rooms * Commercial premises * Rooms with large windows * Showrooms and premises with glass displays By combining two detection technologies in a single device, CombiProtect can monitor both **movement inside the protected area and glass breakage**, reducing the number of separate detectors required for an installation. ### Key Advantages **Ajax CombiProtect 38096 Black** provides an efficient combination of motion and glass break detection in a single wireless device. With a motion detection range of up to **12 m**, glass break detection up to **9 m**, pet immunity, Jeweller wireless communication up to **1,200 m**, tamper protection, and battery life of up to **5 years**, it is a versatile solution for professional Ajax security installations.
