The mobile interface delivers LTE Cat 6 speeds of up to 300 Mbps and also supports 3G connectivity up to 42 Mbps. Two SIM cards can be used for connection redundancy, with automatic switching triggered by conditions such as weak signal, roaming, loss of network access, data connection failure, or configured data and SMS limits. Auto APN simplifies mobile network setup, while bridge mode can provide a direct connection between the mobile ISP and a device on the LAN.The router provides four Gigabit Ethernet interfaces: one configurable WAN port and three LAN ports, with the WAN interface also available for LAN use. Network backup can combine mobile and wired WAN options with automatic failover, while load balancing can distribute Internet traffic across multiple WAN connections. Power can be supplied through passive PoE on the LAN port or through the internal 4-pin DC connector, with a 9–50 VDC input range and protection against reverse polarity and voltage surges or transients. The enclosure is rated IP67 and specified for operation from -40°C to 75°C. Selected internal interfaces require opening the enclosure or installing optional QuWireless accessories for external access.Secure Network ManagementQuRouter X09S provides a broad set of routing, security, and VPN functions for managed network deployments. Static routing is joined by BGP, OSPF v2, RIP v1/v2, EIGRP, and NHRP, while VRRP can be used alongside mobile and wired WAN backup options. Firewall control includes port forwarding, traffic rules, custom rules, DMZ, NAT, and NAT-T, with additional protection against SYN floods, selected SSH and HTTP/HTTPS attacks, and several port-scan methods. VLAN separation can be configured by port or tag, web filtering supports blacklist and whitelist modes, and access control can filter TCP, UDP, and ICMP traffic as well as MAC addresses.For encrypted connectivity, the router supports OpenVPN with multiple clients and a server operating simultaneously, together with IPsec, GRE, PPTP, L2TP, Stunnel, DMVPN, and SSTP. Management is available through the WebUI for status, configuration, firmware updates, troubleshooting, and logs, while FOTA can update firmware from a server. SNMP, TR-069, MQTT, SSH, SMS functions, and Teltonika RMS provide additional monitoring and administration options, with RMS also supporting firmware and configuration updates for multiple devices. The integrated GNSS platform supports GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, and QZSS, exposes coordinates through WebUI, SMS, TAVL, and RMS, and allows multiple geofence zones to be configured. Modbus TCP master and slave functions extend integration options, while one digital input and one digital output can generate events through SMS, Email, or RMS.
