It is part of MikroTik’s GPEN (Gigabit Passive Ethernet Network) concept, which offers a cost-effective and easy-to-deploy alternative to traditional GPON installations by using standard Ethernet infrastructure. Equipped with two Gigabit Ethernet ports, the GPEN11 provides data connectivity and PoE power through a single Ethernet cable, simplifying network deployments and reducing installation complexity. Passive PoE output is available on Ether2, allowing reliable power delivery to compatible devices. A dedicated space on the front panel is reserved for an ISP sticker (6.6 × 2.54 cm), making the unit especially suitable for service provider installations where branding and clear identification are required. The compact, wall-mount design ensures a clean and professional installation in both residential and commercial environments. The GPEN11 is powered via a single DC jack input supporting a wide voltage range of 12–57 V, offering flexibility when selecting power sources. It delivers passive PoE output on one Gigabit Ethernet port, with a low-voltage PoE current limit of 2 A and a maximum total output current of 2 A, ensuring stable and controlled power delivery to connected devices. The unit features two 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports, one of which supports PoE-out, enabling efficient data and power transmission over Ethernet. Designed for professional deployments, the GPEN11 complies with CE, EAC, and RoHS certifications, meeting key safety and environmental standards. Its reliable electrical characteristics and simple installation make it a practical choice for ISPs and network installers looking to deploy scalable Ethernet-based access networks using the GPEN approach.
